Our Chorus
The Mayflower regularly invites new people to join its 70-member chorus. Currently we have openings for tenors, baritones and basses, and keep an active waiting list for interested altos and sopranos. There is no formal audition, but we do ask you to meet and sing for the director so we can determine your vocal range. We also ask that you attend rehearsals regularly and inform our Chorus Administrator of any necessary absences.

Member Requirements
The Mayflower rehearses from 7:30-10 p.m. on Tuesday nights in San Rafael. We stage shows in May and December usually at the Showcase Theater in the Marin Civic Center, in addition to a variety of community performances throughout the year. During show week there is a mandatory Monday run-through and Thursday dress rehearsal. Performances are typically Friday evening and Saturday afternoon and evening.
Travel Opportunities
Every three years, The Mayflower travels to an international destination to perform. Recently, we toured in Cuba and Croatia. We are committed to bringing our music not only to Marin County, Northern California and the United States but to the World. We are looking forward to touring many more venues, both domestically and internationally, in the future.
