The Mayflower Choral Society Scholarship Fund
The Mayflower Choral Society Scholarship Fund was established in 1993 to benefit people from the local community who have exhibited a talent or a strong interest in music and want to further develop their musical knowledge and/or talent.
About the Scholarship Grants
Scholarships of $250 or more are available for people with talent or strong interest in Vocal Performance, Composing and Arranging, or Choral Direction. Northern California candidates age 16 or older, any musical style, any background are encouraged to apply for Mayflower Choral Society cash scholarships. In-person auditions will be held on Saturday, November 2, 2024 in San Rafael. Winners may be given opportunities to perform at Mayflower Chorus events and spring and winter shows. Grants are funded by a broad spectrum of current and former members of the Chorus, especially those in whose memory donations have been made to the Scholarship Fund over the years.
